Tidung Island Residents Buy Their Needs at Ramadan Fest

Residents of Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands were pleased with Ramadan Fest that offers various products, from groceries, foods, drinks, to clothes.

The price is also cheaper than in the market

Maesaroh (45), resident of RT 02/02, Tidung Island Urban Village admitted, this event made her easier to buy her daily needs, including staple foods.

"I am so happy, because there is no bazaar in here for a long time. I buy some staple foods for my needs until Eid. The price is also cheaper than in the market," she conveyed, Tuesday (5/4).

Other resident named Yuliana (35) from RT 03/03, Tidung Island Urban Village said, this bazaar not only offers cheap staple foods, but also various culinary and fashion products.

"I am grateful and appreciate Thousand Islands Regency for holding bazaar that sells cheap staple food and involves local residents in the event," she stated.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, people are enthusiastic to shop various BUMD and Jakpreneur's products.

"This event is carried out by implementing health protocol. We apply queue system to prevent crowd," he asserted.
